Amber's Crazy Bloggin' Canuck

Well written and to be honest, I had no idea the protest even happened. I think it's funny how so many are blaming the Mormons. Funny, I didn't know we had that many in California to account for the entire vote!

And hear, hear on The View. I stopped watching when they brought Rosie on.

Very nicely written. Although I'm surprised at the protests around the temples, I imagine they choose them because they are the biggest symbol of our faith to the outside world. And plus they are open weekdays as opposed to the meeting houses. (If they protest there, no one would notice!) And I do agree that they are targeting the Mormons because it is easier and less "politically correct" than picketing an African-American church or a synagogue or a mosque.

But I don't know if I can join you in boycotting Whoopi. She's much better on the View than Rosie ever was.

"We have seen worse." Amen... and can I add, we will see worse.

I read that there were so many other votes in favor of passing Proposition 8, that if every single California Mormon had stayed home from the polls, it STILL would have passed. But we're targeted because we are more organized, more unified, more affluent (donations) and more visible than most of the churches or churchgoers who also supported it - which we should be proud of. But yeah, we're gonna get spanked for it.

Whoopi is a tool. She was only good in "Ghost". :)

Ok, you inspired me. I spoke out in my own way...... Proably won't do anything, but I feel better.

Shelly - this was very well written and if you haven't already, I think you should send Whoopie this in an email!

This is well written.

No Cool Story

Ok, I am just going to say it: I have no idea why anyone would watch "The View". It puzzles me but I'd not spend even half a second thinking about it because that's how much I care about that show, any of the hostesssessss and especially, anyhting that would feature WGoldberg.

Whatever dudes. See if we care.
