This had better work...

There, now I can comment. I was typing blindly and doing fine until the "preview" and "post" buttons. I had a great story and everything. Oh well.... ;) Good luck getting it figured out, but in the meantime, your colors and pictures look great!!!

Thanks for sharing your story about how you met your hubby! How sweet! It's funny how things can change between people so quickly.

I met my hubby at work. It was immediate attraction for both of us, but it still took awhile for things to get interesting!

BTW...I guess I'm naive, but what is a peechee? I've never heard of that before.

Suzanne, I'm sure you've had a peechee, you just didn't know what it was. It's that folder you put papers in in school... They used to have basketball players all over them... Not a 3 ring binder, just the folder.

Glad the posting is working... Now I can tell everyone how I've not gotten over you blowing me off for some guy (wink). '

New house closes in three weeks, possession changes on June 7, remodel starts June 8... Should be a busy couple of months!!!!

I would tell you how I met my DH (as if you didn't already know), but it would sound boring next to your creative and delightful storytelling.

Who knew introducing you to Depeche Mode had such a profound effect on your life. Glad I could help

BTW, I love the new picture! How I long to be on the beach again!

Millie - I will just have to make up a story and pretend you said it. "Millie, Bribunny and NCS walk into a bar (just to get some beer for NCS's hair obviously)..."

Suzanne - Yeah, what Kat said about the PeeChee. Seriously you've never heard them called that before?

Kat - So cool about your house, what remodeling are you doing? And SOOORRRRRYYYYY!

Steph - but I like your story! Post it on your blog!

Love the new look - your header is gorgeous! I am still having problems reading the 2nd post down. Half of it is hiding under the left side bar.

I can't post how I meet my hubby in front of people I don't know (insert embarrassed emoticon here). Let's just say I had a few too many drinks that night :)

So is a Pee CHee like a Trapper Keeper or thinner like a regular folder? No, I've really not heard that term before, but I've also been known to be a little ditzy that way! ;)

It really isn't as exciting as yours, though. I guess I could make it sound more dramatic.

Tired and bitter, a young man walked into the Young Adult Branch in Kennewick, Washington with no thought on his mind but checking out babes and rating testimonies on a scale of 1 to 10 with his best friend Tim, when whom should he spy, wearing a hot skinny red dress and innocently playing prelude music for Sacrament meeting but...

(fanfare and light from the heavens above)

... his future wife.

There you go.

Thinner... see picture attached...

I met mine through work... Very boring... Although we were on a business trip and ended up in a Wal-Mart in Carlsbad NM to watch people... (Remember those bangs from the late 80's/early 90's... The ones that stood straight up??? They still do that in Carlsbad - oh and severe fashion disasters - quite enjoyable). That's where he told me he liked me... On a business trip to NM... Maybe the trip to Walmart was our first date???? And we've happily been living in sin for 2 1/2 years.

As for remodeling... the electric blue counter tops have to go... Can't deal with that. And we are getting all new appliances (stainless) including a gas cooktop for the island. And the sexy washer/dryer you want so much. Also, we have to remodel the master bath b/c it has no shower, only a tub, so we're building a huge walk in shower... And while were at it, we figured we should push out most of that wall and increase the master and enclose a large walk in closet... Adding a total of about 160 sqft. And we need new carpet... and paint... Did I mention the electric blue countertops??? Oh, and the backsplash with the Native American motifs??? Yeah, that needs to go. And since we are paying ~ 110K less than any other house we found that would work, we figured we could invest about 30 to make it what we really want...

That's kinda it... We have a builder and everything... Dan's going wild with the appliances... Much more so than I would. But he's paying for them, so who am I to argue???

Oh, I may forgive you for blowing me off someday... that shifty Tom character (grumble, grumble)... Don't hold your breath though...

Thanks for the link, Kat! I recognize them now, but it's still kind of a vague memory! :)
